Conflict and Abuse:

Sin’s most ugly face.

I have given them the glory that you gave me,
that they may be one as we are one
– John 17:21

A new command I give you:
Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples,
if you love one another. – John 17:21

Jesus said,
“Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,

for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14

What a contrast from these powerful statements of what God calls the church to be and what we sometime descend into. Conflict and abuse happen because we are all sinner and sinners sin. However, the more we live into the mission of Jesus the more we can fight this ugliest face of sin. And when conflict and/or abuse happen, we can bring healing through repentance and forgiveness given by Jesus. These pages will help you find out how.
